Perfect Pulled Pork

This is the BEST pulled pork! It is a little spicy, though, so you may want to tone it down if you have little ones. Enjoy! I promise you'll love it!

5 lbs boneless pork butt shoulder (I have also used a boneless picnic pork)
1-1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
2 tsp. black pepper
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. water

*Combine all seasonings and rub evenly over roast. Place meat in a slow cooker. Add water. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4-5 hours or until pork is very tender.

*Place pork on large cutting board or platter and let rest for 10-15 minutes. Pull, slice or chop to serve. Serve in buns with BBQ sauce. (We also like it in tortillas or over salad).
