Taco Salad

This is a classic at our house--EASY and delicious! (And a good way to sneak in veggies!) We fix this on Sundays a lot because everyone comes home STARVING and nobody wants to spend tons of time in the kitchen.
Tortilla chips, crushed
Lettuce (I use baby spinach leaves)
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. cumin
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
Corn
Black beans
Cheddar cheese, shredded
Tomatoes
Sliced avocado
*Brown meat, adding garlic powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Drain.
*Layer plate with tortilla chips, lettuce, and remaining ingredients. Top with sour cream or drizzle with Ranch dressing. This is a meal in itself--no need to worry about side dishes!
