Saucy Beef Patties


1 egg, slightly beaten
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 lb. ground beef
1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce
2 T. chopped green onion
2 T. brown sugar
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. mustard
*In a large bowl, combine egg, bread crumbs, salt & pepper. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well.
*Shape into 4 patties. In large skillet, brown patties on each side. Remove and set aside. Drain drippings.
*In the same skillet, combine the remaining ingredients. Return patties to skillet. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 10 mins. This is a super easy meal that you can throw together on the weekend when you're not in the mood to cook :) Yield: 4 servings
