Apple Crisp

I've made this a couple times and always forget to take a picture! But you all know what a yummy, crumbly apple crisp looks like, right?? Anyway, I adapted this recipe from The Busy Budgeting Mama. Enjoy!

Topping-
2 Cup sifted all-purpose flour
1 Cup Raw rolled oats
2 Cups light-brown sugar, firmly packed
1 cup butter, softened (i used margarine)

Apple Filling-
5 Cups cut apples, peeled and cut in 1/4" slices
3/4 Cup granulated sugar
1/4 Cup unsifted all-purpose flour
1/2 Teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 Cup water

*Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Make topping by first combining dry ingredients, then stir in butter with a fork. In a 9x13 pan combine Apple Filling ingredients. Crumble topping over the top and bake, uncovered, for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with cool whip or over vanilla ice cream!
