Mashed Potatoes (Yams)

This is my own, easy rendition of mashed yams! They turned out really yummy and my little girl couldn't get enough. Not to mention they're super HEALTHY!
1/3 cup skim/low-fat milk
3 Tbsp. butter/margarine
1 Tbsp. brown sugar (add more if you want them sweeter, like to substitute baked beans)
3 large yams
*Peel and dice yams. Boil about 20 mins, or until VERY soft; drain.
*Put in blender and add rest of ingredients. Beat on high to desired consistency. Enjoy! I served these with salmon and baby spinach salad.
