Mrs. Field's White Chip Macadamia Nut Cookies

This isn't necessarily a super easy recipe, but definitely worth trying. I have found that a lot of grocery stores are having sales on nuts right now, so grab those macadamia nuts while you can for a good price!
2-1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. packed dark brown sugar (I used light)
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. butter
2 large eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. white chocolate chips (12 oz.)
1 c. chopped macadamia nuts/pecans
*Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Combine flour, soda, and salt in medium bowl. Mix well with wire whisk; set aside.
*In a large mixer blend sugars at med speed. Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste, scraping down the sides of the bowl. Add eggs and vanilla, nad mix at a med speed until just blended. Do not overmix. Add flour mixture, white chips, and nuts, and blend at low speed until just mixed.
*Drop by rounded tablespoons onto an ungreased cookie sheet, 2" apart. Bake 12-14 mins. Transfer cookies immediately to a cook surface with a spatula. (Cookies will be moist on top but slightly crispy on the bottom.) Allow cookie sheet to cool between baking. Yields: 4-5 dozen.

No Bake White Chocolate Cookies

Okay this recipe is WAY too good to not share. It's my mother-in-law's, and she's the best cook! This is a perfect treat to give for Christmas!
1 lb. white almond bark
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
1 cup rice krispies
1 cup mini marshmallows
1 cup dry roasted peanuts
*Put pieces of almond bark and peanut butter in microwaveable bowl; microwave about 2 mins, or until melted, stirring OFTEN.
*Add in dry ingredients. Drop on wax paper by spoonful. YUM!!
***Substitute the white chocolate for milk chocolate and you'd have rocky road cookies!

More Halloween Treats...White Chocolate Oreos

Here's another Halloween treat we made for some neighbors...Super easy, cute, and mighty tasty! Just melt some white almond bark, dip oreos in it, and top with some festive sprinkles!

Candy Corn Bark

This stuff is delish! Very sweet, but has enough salty to tone it down a bit. Super festive looking, too!
16 Halloween-colored oreos, chopped
1-1/2 cups broken small pretzels
1/3 cup raisins
1-1/2 pounds white chocolate, broken into squares
3/4 cup candy corn
orange/brown sprinkles
*Spread the cookies, pretzels and raisins evenly onto a lightly greased small baking sheet. Melt chocolate in a bowl set over a pan of simmering water, or in the microwave, stirring frequently until melted. Remove from the heat while there are still a few chunks, and stir until smooth. White chocolate burns easily.
*Drizzle chocolate with a spoon over the goodies in the pan, spreading the top flat to coat evenly. *Top with candy corn and sprinkles. Let cool until firm. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container.
