These are to die for! You will fall in love at first bite!
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, melted
2 cups sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
3/4 cup cocoa
1-1/4 cups flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Peanut Butter Filling
In a small mixing bowl, beat 2 packages (3 ounces each) softened cream cheese, 1/2 cup peanut butter, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg and 2 Tbsp. milk until smooth and creamy.
*Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 9x13 pan. Prepare peanut butter filling. Meanwhile, stir together melted butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs; beat well. Add cocoa; beat until well blended. Add flour, baking powder and salt; mix well. Stir in chips. Remove 1 cup batter and set aside. Pour remaining batter into prepared pan. Spread peanut butter filling over the top. Drop reserved chocolate batter by teaspoonfuls over filling. Using knife, gently swirl for marbled effect. Bake 35-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out almost clean.
